Dr. Anouschka Velke.
Dr. Anouschka Velke was born in France and grew up in Germany. Already during her juridical studies at Johann-Wolfgang-von-Goethe-University in Frankfurt, she focused on criminal law. After her studies, she did a doctorate on a criminal trial-juridical subject.
In 2004 Dr. Velke was admitted as a lawyer. In 2007, she was appointed as a specialist lawyer for criminal law and graduated the LL.M. program for white-collar crime at the University of Osnabruck.
Her main areas of expertise are criminal tax law and asset recovery (so-called confiscation) in criminal proceedings.
Dr. Anouschka Velke started her professional career in 2004 at the highly recommended law firm for white collar and tax crime Prof. Dr. Hamm and partner. From 2007 she belonged to the renowned law firm Dr. Dörr and colleagues.
From 2011 until 2016, she headed the department for white collar and tax crime at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Frankfurt. In 2016, Dr Velke went into business for herself and founded the law firm Dr Velke. Meanwhile, Dr. Velke has been working in the field of criminal law for almost 20 years and has a high level of experience due to her specialization.
In 2016 Dr. Anouschka Velke was included in the Eighth Edition of The Best Lawyers® in Germany in the practice area of Criminal Defence. In 2017, she was awarded by Best Lawyers® in the field of white-collar crime law and has been honored annually ever since.
In 2020, Dr Velke's law firm was awarded for the first time by Focus magazine as a leading law firm in white-collar crime law. In 2021 and 2022, she was awarded again.
In 2021, her firm was included in the list of Best Commercial Law Firms by Brand 1 magazine and has been awarded annually since then.

Dr Velke is a member of wistros e.V., the alumni and support association of the LL. M. in Commercial Criminal Law at the University of Osnabrück, and was its chairperson for 10 years until 2022. She is also a member of the Wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Vereinigung e.V. (WisteV) and the Deutscher Strafverteidiger e.V. (German Defence Lawyers Association).
Dr. Anouschka Velke regularly gives lectures at client events and is a lecturer in the specialist lawyers' course of the Hessian Criminal Defence Lawyers. Her main areas of expertise are in the field of commercial and fiscal criminal law and the confiscation of assets (so-called confiscation) in criminal proceedings.

Isabella Knab.
Ms Isabella Knab studied law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Her outstanding academic achievements were honoured with the prestigious Ilse Staff Prize in 2021.
During her academic training, Ms Knab also gained valuable international experience during a one-year stay abroad in Montreal, Canada, which enabled her to perfect her language skills.
After successfully completing her first state examination in law, Ms Knab completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt am Main, where she worked for an international commercial law firm and the senior public prosecutor's office in the district of Fulda.
Isabella Knab has been working as a lawyer since being admitted to the bar in 2024. She represents and defends individuals and companies in complex criminal law matters. Her focus is on white-collar criminal law, criminal tax law and selected areas of core criminal law.
